It’s the start of January and 2012 and this weekend Niche – The London String Quartet have spent lots of time recording and working in the studio! If you would like to find out how you can hire them for your recordings visit here.
It came the time for us record some tracks and what better place to do this than in award winning Snap Studios in North London. Niche has joined a very illustrious list of musicians who have recorded here, including Coldplay, Razorlight and Kaiser Chiefs!
Studio time is always at a premium, so, instruments at the ready we began the session at 10am. A gruelling 10 hours later we were done with aches in our backs and necks, par for the course with us musicians! With the help of Adam Crowe, who was our studio engineer that day, we recorded an impressive 8 tracks. The mastered copy of the recording has been delivered to us and we are so pleased with the outcome. As well as thanking all at Snap Studios we would like to thank Alex from Blue Pro Mastering for all his help.
