Introducing Niche London String Trio

Niche London String Trio is a group made up of three string instruments – the two violinists and cellist from the best quartet in London! Our trio has become a very popular option for wedding music, birthday parties, charity events and corporate entertainment hire.

Niche London Trio are a favourite of the US Ambassador and his wife recently playing twice at their Regents Park residence Winfield House to many esteemed US and UK guests. Also Niche Trio were the first ever event musicians hired to perform at the brand new US Embassy at Nine Elms.

Why a String Trio?

The string trio is the perfect option when space availability and budget is not able to work with the four quartet musicians. The sound quality is still of the highest standard and Niche String Trio plays a wide range of classical favourites and our famously large and varied repertoire of modern songs!

Recently Niche String Trio musicians have been hired in London, Surrey, Essex and the Cotswolds to play wedding ceremony and reception music at: Hotel Cafe Royal, Kew Gardens, Gaynes Park, Caroline Gardens Chapel, Stationers’ Hall, One Whitehall Place, Foxhill Manor, The Four Seasons and The Dorchester.

With our own top quality amplification equipment available to all our clients we can make sure our musicians, whether quartet, trio, duo or soloist provide the perfect level of ambiance for large numbers of guests and also large venue spaces.

This Summer has been completely amazing! Niche London String Quartet and String Trio have played wedding music at OVER 50 different wedding venues, and also provided entertainment for birthday parties, corporate events, summer parties, award ceremonies and a very special surprise engagement proposal!

We have had the pleasure of playing lots of very in love couples down and back up the wedding ceremony aisle playing traditional classical music like Pachelbel’s Canon in D or I Giorni has been a favourite. The String Quartet and trio have also arranged and learned lots of new music to make our Niche Couples’ wedding ceremony a completely personal moment that will never be forgotten. Some of our newest modern string quartet wedding songs include Somebody To Love by Queen and Cheerleader by Omi!

Multiple wedding music performances for Niche London String Quartet and Trio took place at some of our favourite wedding venues, Hedsor House, Kew Gardens (one on the hottest day of the year!!), Pembroke Lodge, The Bingham. Richmond wedding venues proving very popular as always! We got to visit some new wedding venues for the first time too, playing at Searcys at The Gherkin, Waddesdon Manor Dairy, Ham Yard Hotel and Aynhoe Park (There is SO much to say about the amazing Aynhoe Park Wedding we will have to save it for it’s own post!)

Niche London String Quartet played for a wonderful ceremony and champagne reception in the heart of Mayfair last weekend. We really enjoyed the decor, atmosphere and grandeur of The Savile Club! The string quartet also enjoyed the wedding music choices for the ceremony:
