Niche London String Quartet play for Sassi Holford’s Couture Wedding Launch

At the very end of September Niche – The London String Quartet were asked to entertain guests with all our wedding music favourites at the Sassi Holford 2013 Couture Bridal Collection launch! This event was particularly special as it lead to us being nominated for the 2013 Wedding Industry Awards! As the recommended supplier of the event planners It’s the Agency, it was a privilege to make the music to create the perfect energy and atmosphere for the evening.

The event, appropriately named ‘Couture Monday’, was held at the grand and beautiful wedding venue Haberdashers’ Hall and we played a set with a full mix of our favourite wedding music repertoire starting out with classical Fur Elise by Beethoven and Handel’s most triumphant Royal Fireworks Music, on to the energetic Arrival of the Queen of Sheba and the stylish Minuet and Trio.

As guests continued to enjoy delicious food samples and imaginative one-off cocktail creations by Chester  Boyd we moved onto to entertain guests and play our selection of modern wedding songs and Chart Hits! Particular wedding favourites that pleased guests shared with us later were our special arrangements of joyous Marry You by Bruno Mars, our version of soaring Paradise by Coldplay, and the incredibly romantic At Last. All of these wedding songs were the result of our highly unique service of arranging wedding songs to order so that every one of our clients can have a completely bespoke and unique day!

The evening finished with guests being treated to a sneak preview of twelve Sassi Holford gowns; with elegant silhouettes, delicate lace detailing and the perfect accessories to top off each look – by the end of the evening every Bride-to-be was totally enthralled.
